KING 5's 18th annual Home Team Harvest to benefit Northwest Harvest is underway. This year’s goal is to raise enough funds and donations to provide six million meals for families in need in Washington state.
Over the last 18 years, Home Team Harvest has raised over 40 million meals – but we can’t stop there. Northwest Harvest is the only nonprofit food bank distributor operating statewide in Washington with a network of 375 food banks, meal programs and high-need schools. Through this network, we provide 2 million meals every month and provide access to nutritious food while respecting their dignity and promoting good health. Their vision is ending hunger in Washington.
Northwest Harvest can feed a family of three a nutritious meal for just 67 cents. Every penny of their food and operating funds comes from individuals, businesses, foundations and other organizations, and 90 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to food distribution.

DEFY partners with Mary's Place to help raise funds for new rapid exit shelter in Seattle!
DEFY wrestling is partnering with Seattle based organization Mary’s Place, a group who provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness. DEFY will help raise 2 million dollars to create the new rapid exit shelter in Seattle.
At DEFY ON EDGE, we will hold a raffle that includes exclusive ring worn gear, collectibles, and other prizes, with proceeds going to Mary’s Place. Tickets can be purchased at the DEFY merch booth for $5 each, or five for $20.
There are an estimated 40,000 homeless children in Washington State.
Mary’s Place empowers families with children to move out of homelessness through a proven community model of shelter and support. We meet the immediate safety needs of our families, and provide wraparound support services to help them resolve barriers to stability. For over five years we have provided crisis response family shelter at several locations in King County, demonstrating effectiveness and an understanding and ability to meet the needs of diverse family configurations and backgrounds.
The Rapid Exit Shelter will provide shelter and services for families who have an identified housing solution that is feasible within a 30-day time period. The Rapid Exit Shelter will have a dedicated Diversion Specialist on site who will work with families daily to assist them in making progress toward their housing goal.

If you ask any DEFY fan they will agree that Jorel Nelson is no stranger to DEFY or the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle native and Buddy Wayne Academy alum spent years traveling the I5 corridor, taking on all competitors until deciding a few years back the SoCal scene would allow his breakneck, athletic style the exposure it deserved. This was pre DEFY, these were the “Black hole” days…

The chaos that unfolds makes your typical hardcore match look like ammeter hour when a flamethrower is pulled out by MC Erick Arc Elliott.

Flatbush Zombies released “New World Order” earlier this week as a one-off single. The track marks the group’s first new music since releasing their second full-length album, Vacation in Hell, this past June.
Flatbush Zombies recently wrapped a European tour. The group is scheduled to perform at Tyler, the Creator’s annual festival, Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles this month, with a lone gig scheduled in Milwaukee on December 21st.
As for Swerve - he defends his DEFY World Championship at DEFY PDXIII “City Of Thornes” on November 24th in Portland, Oregon at the Hawthorne Theatre against "the Weirdo Hero” Randy Myers. (sans Flamethrower, of course.)

New weekly video series DEFYNOW starts Friday, March 16th!!
DEFY Wrestling is pleased to announce the next phase for DEFY video content with a new weekly streaming program entitled DEFYNOW.
The DEFYNOW moniker, previously used as an event title for smaller scale live events will now be the name for DEFY's flagship online program - featuring matches, interviews, and promos directly from DEFY live events, DEFYNOW will also incorporate documentary-style pieces and music videos to create a "television-like" experience in a shorter format.
"I think for a lot of people - brevity is appreciated and we want to try and present a streaming show that really highlights the matches, the vibe, and the experience of being at a DEFY live event without insisting folks commit a full 3 hours at a time. We think creating a show that is short, consistent and well produced will resonate with an audience that perhaps digests many other forms of content in that very way - like podcasts, blog posts, tweets, episodes of a web series - we think there is a happy medium between powerful content and short-form presentation specifically produced to live on the internet and not on TV." - JIM PERRY // DEFY Owner
The first episode of DEFYNOW will be available starting next Friday, March 16th for subscribers to DefyOnDemand.com - as well as partner channels such as HighSpots Network, Demand Progress, PCW Ultra On Demand, CZW Studios and more.
In the near future viewers can expect DEFYNOW to appear on the IMPACT Wrestling streaming platform GWN, in addition to being featured on the Amazon Prime channel "Powerslam Wrestling Network". For the first time, (and very soon) DEFY programming will be available on AppleTV devices.
DEFYNOW launches next week, Friday, March 16th with action from DEFY9 from Seattle's Historic Washington Hall.
